Boyd Roche

Boyd Roche was from New Jersey and later moved to Lincoln, Illinois where he attended Lincoln College before moving to Richmond, Indiana and became a member of Richmond Civic Theatre. His first production with RCT was in "Lo and Behold" in November of 1952, but prior to that he had appeared in "Born Yesterday", "Devil's Disciple" and "Glass Menagerie" with other companies. In about 1953 he also started attending Earlham College to be a stage director and was a student director for the Earlham workshop. He was also a radio announcer on WKBV in the early 50's where he worked with fellow Richmond Civic Theatre member Donna Kitchel, a continuity writer for the station.
