Bush Street Theater (1868-aft.1895)

The Bush Street Theater was built in 1868 and was known as the Alhambra Theater until 1877. In 1878 the city directories begin listing the venue as the Bush Street Theater and in the San Francisco Call it's listed as the "New Bush Street Theatre" in 1890. It was located at 325 Bush Street, San Francisco. M. B. Leavitt was the lessee and proprietor and J. J. Gottlob was the manager.
