Ethel Barrymore Theatre (1928-Present)

Herbert J. Krapp, architect. Built in 1928 by the Shuberts and named for actress Ethel Barrymore, who was invited to open the house in the vehicle of her choice. The venue remains a Shubert theatre. The theatre is located at 243 W. 47th Street, New York, NY and seats 1,096.
