Imperial Theatre (1923-Present)

Herbert J. Krapp, architect. Built by the Shuberts to replace their out of date Lyric Theatre. From 1938 to 1968, only two productions played fewer than three hundred performances. Most often home to musicals. The venue is located at 249 W. 45th St., New York, NY and has a capacity for 1,435.
