"Table Number Seven" by Sir Terence Rattigan

"Table Number Seven" is one of two plays by Sir Terence Rattigan that, together, make up the play "Separate Tables". The two are usually produced together and all but two characters from each play are included in both.


Summer at the Beauregard Private Hotel in Bournemouth, England. We see a friendship between a repressed spinster and a retired English army officer, Major Pollock.

Scene 1: Lounge. After tea.
Scene 2: Dining Room. Dinner.
