Theatre 80 St. Marks (1966-Present)

Theatre 80 St. Marks is located at 80 St. Marks Place in Manhattan and has been an Off-Broadway venue since it's establishment in the East Village between 1964-1965, hosting live theater and ballet. "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" debuted here May 7, 1967. Before it was Theatre 80, it was a speakeasy and then a Jazz club which hosted greats such as John Coltrane and Frank Sinatra. In the 70's and 80's it was a revival movie house. From 1994 to 2009 The Pearl Theatre Company was the primary theatrical tenant. Today the venue is again primarily an Off-Broadway rental house that occasionally shows film. It is still owned and operated by the Otway family, now by Lorcan Otway, the son of the original owner, Howard Otway.
